Tradebox nominated for Sage awards

No primary category set

Tradebox have been nominated for both the Sage Innovation Award 2008 and Sage Developer of the Year Award 2008. These are the only two awards available for members of the Sage Developer programme and reflects just how much work has gone into their accounts solution – Finance Manager.

They’ve already won two awards this year at the North East Digital Awards. They’ll be exhibiting at Small Business 2.0 on Saturday this week so if you’re attending don’t forget to wish them luck for the 5th November when the awards will be announced.

I’m guessing if they win that they won’t mind missing out on fireworks while they attend the Sage gala dinner 😉

  1. I don’t want to put Tradebox down, as their offering looks very impressive, but really, how much competition is there for the Sage awards out there?

  2. I’m not sure how much of a commendation from Sage is worth! IMHO Sage is probably one of the worst programs I have ever bought; expensive, arcane, disjointed, time-consuming, user unfriendly to name a few…

I was thinking just the same thing,
is it like these Britain in bloom things, where everytown with more thsn a growbag gets an award

  4. I am coming along on saturday and one of my priorities is an accountng package

I want one that does Stock Control and VAT calculations

across website and ebay – does anyone recommend Tradebox?

    Chris

  5. our real live human Chartered accountant and a couple of hundred quid a month works a treat too
you stuff the information in one end and the tax and vat returns come out the other lol

  6. #8 I couldn’t agree more – Life would be miserable without an accountant! I don’t too much mind the record keeping, I mind automated record keeping even less, but getting from the records to paying as little tax as legally possible is a whole different game best left to a professional 😀

  7. our accountant is worth every penny of his fees and a bit more on top
if I were to give any advice to a new business,
it would be dont try and do your books yourself

  8. we do our accountant does all our accounting we just provide the input and output
