eBay have yet another free listing weekend for Private registered sellers. Auction style listings will be free regardless of start price for the 26th and 27th February.
Again Business Sellers and PowerSellers aren’t eligible for the promotion and Private sellers will only benefit if they’re meeting eBay’s minimum seller performance standards. As with all recent promotions the use of professional to launch listings aren’t allowed, only the Sell Your Item form will qualify you for the free listings.
This is already the third free listing weekend for private sellers so far this year – one has to wonder if eBay are thinking of extending free listings on a more permanent basis.

Just noticed this on the ebaY news board.
I has listings scheduled to go live on Sunday, so I’ve moved them to Monday.
The last time I had listings which co-incided with a free listing week-end, my final prices realised in auctions were considerably lower than usual.
As a business seller, free listing week-ends for private sellers are a no go area for me.
How about ebay looks at splitting listings not just by Buy-it-Now and auctions but also by Business & Private sellers?
Why don’t Ebay just get on with it and slash insertion fees for auctions across the board !
The amount of free listing weeks is getting beyond a joke.
