There’s yet another eBay UK free listing weekend for private sellers on the 28th and 29th April. Again Business sellers and PowerSellers are excluded as are the use of any professional listing tools such as TurboLister or Selling Manager Pro.
This time sellers can list up to 100 auction style listings with a start price of £1 or more with free insertion fees.
eBay also added on an image to the email notification promoting ““. If you’re clearing out your old DVDs or CDs then this is definitely the way to go – simply scan the barcode and the listing is pretty much created for you and all you need to do is a brief description and choose the start price and duration. If you’ve not tried listing with the mobile app why not give it a try on your private eBay ID this weekend?

The optimum strategy at the moment seems to avoid the having listings end on weekends when the free listing end. The categories that I sell personal stuff in invariably get flooded during free listing period and therefore my stuff gets less exposure.
