Thanks for the beers! London eBay Seller Meetup

No primary category set

The London eBay Seller Meetup Group sponsored by iwoca was a great success last night with a packed room and around 50 people attending. There was many a beer or glass of wine drunk and after the presentation section of the night the room was buzzing with conversation. It was also great to see some new faces and find out what others are doing to grow their businesses.

The main theme for the evening was “multichannel retailing” and I had the honour of giving an overview on how to choose a multichannel platform partner with Artem and Fedor from Linnworks in attendance to show what a difference a software solution can make to a business.

I’ve never known a company invest in a multichannel management platform without their growth rapidly accelerating. It really doesn’t matter which partner you decide has the best solution for you, the process of automating tasks and the discipline of doing so along with the ease with which you can then launch products onto new marketplaces is almost a cast iron guarantee that your sales will grow exponentially.

The next London eBay Seller Meetup Group date has yet to be announced… it’ll probably not take place over the summer do to the Olympic disruption and the impossibility of traveling around the city but we’ll let you know as soon as a date is set in the diary. Having enjoyed last night’s event though I can highly recommend the Meetups in their new format with iwoca’s generous sponsorship.

(PS Many thanks to the iwoca team for the beers!)

  1. What an evening – some iwoca team members are still recovering 😉

Thanks to everybody for attending! Great to see that we managed to revive it again! The next event will be on 5 September – looking forward to seeing you again!

Special thanks of course to Chris and Artem for the presentations!

  2. Still waiting for a decent stand alone multi-channel stock control program.

PS Does any one have any idea if eBay are ever going to sort File Exchange out so that the “active listings” download includes the SKU’s for variations?

  3. Awesome night it was 🙂

Thanks for the super show to everyone, special thanks goes to Christoph, James and Alycia for their commitment in making this all happen, and a big thank to Chris Dawson for his comments about our product.

Both myself and Fedor have truly enjoyed it and we can’t wait for the next one!

  4. Linnworks is a super innovative product that works! It was a shame that Artem did not have a few hours to fully demo the power of this product. I have been using it for a couple of years now, and there were new things that I learnt at the session. Keep up the innovations guys!

  5. Congratulations for a great meet-up everyone! Thanks for sharing the photos with us who missed the event.

September 5 is just around the corner and we hope to be there 🙂
