US TV ads “If it’s on your mind, it’s on eBay”

No primary category set

eBay have revealed three new adverts which will be running from today until the middle of November.

The aim of the adverts is to show anyone can find the new designer and electronic goods they want on eBay for immediate purchase, using a smartphone or tablet. eBay also say that the Buyer Protection logo appears at the end of each commercial, emphasizing that buyers are protected when they choose to make purchases on eBay.

I’m never entirely convinced that US television ads would work in the UK, but below you can watch all three ads in turn and decide for yourself. If you’re ever looking for an excuse to make a luxury goods purchase watch through to the third ad for the best justification ever for spending large sums on a personal treat!

  1. The focus of these three ads: women and fashion (with a bloke wanting a tech item chucked in.)

Anyone want to guess what eBay thinks is important? ;o)

  2. I think Dan just read my mind! Absolutely agree, fashion took 2 1/2 spots from the playlist while tech took a mere 1/2.

Funny ads though, fingers crossed they highlight other categories soon.
