German Marketplaces

About You

This marketplace offers fashion brands and retailers the opportunity to integrate their assortment into Europe’s fastest growing fashion platform for young, fashion-conscious customers across 26 markets. It has more than 30mn monthly solid active customers and sells products across various categories, including fashion, jewellery, watches and cosmetics. Fulfilment is carried out by ‘Fulfilment by About You’ (FbAY).

Kaufland.de webshop interface

With the merger of Kaufland and Hitmeister, one of the biggest marketplaces in Germany has been established on Kaufland. For the first time, a traditional retail company and an established online marketplace have combined forces to offer opportunities and benefits to retailers.

Kaufland sells products in over 5,000 categories and as long as you have a valid GTIN, you can use the existing content to start selling.

However, do note that customer service in German is required.

OTTO

OTTO Market functions as the contact point for retailers that aim to sell their products on otto.de, one of Germany’s best-selling online shops. OTTO Market is fully integrated into ChannelEngine. It offers customers a broad range of fashion and lifestyle products as long as you fulfil its retailer criteria – German legal form, German Tax-ID, customer service in German and so on. Accepted sellers can get easy access to otto.de’s base of over 10mn active customers eager to buy.

Zalando

Founded in 2008 as an online shoe shop, Zalando SE now operates several business fields, including its vast fashion store marketplace, fulfilment and marketing solutions, partner services and Zalon – a style advice service. This portfolio makes Zalando Europe’s leading and most innovative online fashion platform. Moreover, it plans to reduce its carbon emissions by 80% before 2025.

Zalando sells products within a broad range of categories, including everything that has to do with the fashion industry.

Other key German marketplaces

Amazon, cosmetics group Douglas, Limango, MediaMarkt, direct to consumer home and living channel Naduvi and outdoors specialist Obelink.
