During Paris Fashion Week Men’s AW25, eBay announced its partnership with fashion designer and CFDA American Menswear Designer of the Year Willy Chavarria.
The collection – the brand’s first shown outside of New York – revisits the origins of Willy Chavarria. Scouring eBay for vintage fashion and collectibles has played a big part in the evolution of the brand — from the items that stocked the shelves of Palmer Trading Company, to the reference pieces that continue to inspire his eponymous label today.
As the brand marks its 10th anniversary, the new AW25 collection merges past and present by incorporating archival pieces sourced from eBay. With ready-to-wear garments from SS2016 and AW2022 sourced from eBay sellers around the world – from Tokyo to Los Angeles to Paris – the collection is a powerful endorsement of accessibility and circularity in fashion.
Scouring eBay for vintage designer fashion and collectibles has been a key part of my creative process. For this collection, I revisited past seasons to spark a conversation about how ‘new’ looks can be created out of existing pieces.
– Willy Chavarria
A standout from the AW25 collection, Chavarria’s “Chuco Suit” is now available exclusively on eBay until the 2nd of February. An ode to Chavarria’s California roots, 100% of proceeds will benefit the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund, which supports fire recovery efforts in Los Angeles.
This partnership underscores eBay’s ongoing commitment to championing the circular economy, providing a platform where enthusiasts can access an unmatched assortment of pre-loved branded fashion.
