..or use their own blog platform for that matter.
Here what I wrote on Aug 4 07 about the Chatter:

I couldn’t agree more Jeff, mind you if you really want to see how eBay can “blog” take a look at the Trust and Safety blog on eBay.co.uk 😯
Suddenly The Chatter looks quite good, and to be fair it’s been going a lot longer than eBay have had blogs on the site. It’s nasty to port from one platfrom to another… but the T&S blog? PMSL 😀
The eBay France blog, on the other hand, *is* using normal eBay Blogs.
We like the French 😀 They’re a bunch of go getters that are doing it as they should. The rest need to read a book on blogging 😮
:-p @ Chris
Hi Chris (and fellow Jeff),
I’m Jeff, and I’m one of the folks who posts to the Chatter for eBay.com. Chris, you are absolutely right – that was a big goof on our part not to have Stumble included, and it’s now been added. Thanks for pointing that out.
Jeff S., we’ve been getting that question pretty much since we launched eBay Blogs – I would’ve asked that too. I posted about it almost exactly a year ago, but here’s my answer in a nutshell. eBay Blogs are a fine tool for an individual user (although I grant that it can always get better), but they don’t have the multi-user and other backend permissions we need since we have people all over the company posting to the Chatter. Hopefully someday we’ll get to the point where we can move it over, but right now we’re just not there.
If you want to read my post on our discussion board from way back when (same answer, slightly different words), here you go: https://forums.ebay.com/db1/thread.jspa?threadID=2000225986&tstart=200&mod=1158863948895
Keep up the good work!
Jeff
Hi Jeff
Many thanks, I’ve stumbled the odd Chatter post already, but having the link just makes it so much easier 😀
Nice one!
