We felt a bit sorry for UK eBay sellers who have no chance of accessing eBay Wholesale Deals, so here’s a tip for a new source of products in the UK. Discount-goods chain Poundworld have just branched out from their 180 bricks & mortar retail stores and launched a wholesale website.
There’s a minimum order of £500 and at their prices this will probably mean you’ll be getting close to 1000 products. Order more than £1000 worth and delivery to UK mainland addresses is free.
Now I know the thought of sourcing from a £1 shop will amuse some, but the truth is there are many eBay sellers who have made a regular income this way. Cutting out the £1 shop’s profits and ordering the same stock at wholesale prices will make higher profits although the upfront investment is more.
Where there’s a shilling to be made it doesn’t really matter what the source is, just do your sums, use Terapeak to check that there is a profit to be made and pick and choose the stock that you can make a profit from.

I remember the fun we used to have on the old PS board getting items from poundland (or similar) and running comps to see who could sell it for most on ebay auction…
