StockX expands access to Seller Tools

StockX has expanded access to their suite of seller tools, StockX Pro, Scout, and StockX Developers, which provide a range of features including cross-platform selling, inventory management, and bulk selling. While some features were available to select sellers as early as 2021, StockX is now providing broader access to the full suite of tools.

As a two-sided marketplace, our sellers play a crucial role in our success. Millions of people have counted on StockX for access to in-demand products, and we’ve been able to deliver on that promise, in large part, because of our robust seller community. For that reason, we’re constantly working to enhance our systems and processes to further streamline the seller experience and foster growth in their businesses. When we help sellers drive velocity on our platform, the end result benefits buyers as well.

– Russ Amidon, Senior Director of Account Management, StockX

StockX seller tools

  • StockX Pro StockX Pro is a bulk-management tool that allows customers to efficiently list, update, and sell multiple items on StockX. StockX Pro also offers critical market insights and pricing actions and features post-sale logistics support to help sellers more easily navigate the shipping process. First introduced in 2021 for sellers in the United States, StockX Pro is now available to high-volume StockX sellers worldwide.
  • Scout Scout unlocks cross-platform selling, allowing sellers to distribute their supply through multiple marketplaces. Additionally, Scout provides inventory management solutions to automate and simplify pricing and distribution. StockX acquired Scout in 2021, expanded the tool’s capabilities in 2022, and will make it accessible globally to all StockX sellers in 2023.
  • StockX Developers StockX Developers, the company’s newest tool, further streamlines the selling experience on StockX. Geared toward established high-volume sellers, StockX Developers allows customers to integrate Seller, Order, and Catalog APIs and help to manage their businesses.

Each of the three products has its own unique features, which allow sellers to customize their approach based on what works best for them.

Since its launch in 2016, StockX has grown to serve customers in over 200 countries and territories around the world. The company closed 2022 with record-breaking revenue and trades and surpassed milestones including 12 million lifetime buyers, 40 million lifetime trades, and 1.5 million lifetime sellers. Despite a tough economic backdrop, hundreds of thousands of sellers made their first-ever sale on StockX in 2022. Additionally, international sellers accounted for nearly 50% of all StockX trades in 2022, and global growth remains a key focus for the platform in 2023.
